The Government House Leader has provided notice to the Speaker that the public interest requires the assembly to meet on Oct. 23 at 1:30 p.m. Members will hear the speech from the throne, which will outline the government’s priorities as it enters the second half of its mandate.
“Our government is committed to delivering on the promises we made to Albertans to make life more affordable, strengthen public services and attract job-creating investment. We look forward to sharing the action we plan to take come the start of session next month.”
