For more than 35 years, these awards have celebrated the outstanding achievements and commitments of those who give it their all as Alberta’s ambassadors and global leaders in sport.
Recipients of the 2024 Alberta Sport Recognition Awards include outstanding athletes, hard-working coaches, exemplary officials and dedicated volunteers. These individuals demonstrate their unwavering devotion to their sport, leadership and excellence and serve as role models for the next generation of Alberta athletes.

- Open Male Athlete of the Year – Marco Arop - Athletics
- Open Female Athlete of the Year – Hallie Clarke - Skeleton
- Open Team of the Year – Team Canada - Women's Sitting Volleyball - Volleyball
- Don Watts Coach Developer Award – Jackie Cool - Multi-sport
