“The HSAA is demonstrating real leadership by agreeing to extend the delay in bargaining until next year. The agreement to pause negotiations in exchange for job security is extended to March 31, 2021.
“This extension will provide much needed stability for the health care system as we continue to focus on the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I commend the union and its hard-working members for delaying bargaining. This decision is in the best interest of all Albertans and the health care system as we navigate these unprecedented times together.”
