Description: This festival highlights Italian culture, including history, food, fashion, music, dancers, vintage cars, however, also includes kid-friendly activities, and involvement for adults. The community aspect is very important, and through this event, we see people really enjoying the "togetherness' aspect. We also have a large number of people from the community, very much involved.

Description: The Taste of Italy Festival Society is committed to bringing the vibrant spirit of Italian culture to the community. We celebrate food, dance, music, song, fashion, etc. We include all Calgarians and include the local community to be involved with this event. We share and document immigrant stories, we include visual artists, and local artisans. This experience is a beautiful togetherness of our culture.

Description: Discover Nepal Cultural Day is an interactive community event celebrating Nepal's rich heritage through traditional music, dance, cuisine, and storytelling. Description: AIYAA Youth Arts & Culture Celebration is a youth-led community cultural event designed to promote multicultural exchange and community participation through art and music. The event will feature a large collaborative community mural where participants can paint cultural symbols and designs within outlines representing diverse identities and skin tones, creating a shared public artwork celebrating cultural diversity. A Youth Art Creation Zone will encourage young participants to explore.

Description: Walk a Mile in a Ribbon Skirt Day is a community evening gathering and awareness walk honoring Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people while celebrating the cultural significance of the ribbon skirt. Participants will gather at Edmonton City Hall for teachings from Elders and guest speakers, receive ribbon skirt gifts, and participate in a solidarity walk. The event fosters cultural pride, community healing, and public awareness about Indigenous resilience and identity.

Description: This event would bring together different cultural groups that represent members of the Ritchie community, currently including German, Chinese, African/Caribbean and Syrian. This includes members of all ages and genders that have lived in the community for various length of time. This is an event that will showcase culture with art, food, and activities during a day at the Ritchie Hall.

Description: A free, family-friendly International Day of Peace celebration featuring Japanese arts, storytelling, music, and community dialogue. Participants will engage in origami, calligraphy, a Wish Tree installation, and a peace lantern ceremony, alongside intergenerational storytelling and a public peace pledge. Hosted in collaboration with Edmonton Japanese Community Association and peace partners.

Description: St. Cecilia School will host a half-day event for Grades 7–9 on September 30, 2026, to recognize Truth and Reconciliation Day as part of Alberta Culture Days. Indigenous Elders and community members will lead discussions and activities such as bannock making and beading. Students will learn about Indigenous history, culture, and perspectives through hands-on experiences, fostering respect, understanding, and a commitment to reconciliation.

Description: St. Cecilia School will host a half-day event during Alberta Culture Days connecting physical and mental health through the legacy of Terry Fox and the Terry Fox Foundation. Students in Grades 7–9 will hear from local athletes and mental health advocates, then participate in a community Terry Fox Run, promoting resilience, wellness, and collective action.

Description: We would like to provide a number of free cultural events for the people of Leduc and area. Some of these events would possibly include Indigenous Drumming, smudging ceremony, horticultural display and competition, Ukrainian and square dancing performances, auctioneering demo, quilt show, weaving with stalks of grain, and historical story telling.
