Lt.-Gov. Salma Lakhani and Assisted Living and Social Services Minister Nathan Neudorf posed with recipients of the 2026 Minister’s Seniors Service Awards presented at Government House on Oct. 1.

For 28 years, the Minister’s Seniors Service Awards have been presented to individuals and organizations whose compassion and dedication help Alberta seniors stay connected, supported and healthy. This year’s recipients continue that tradition, representing communities across the province and showcasing the impact of volunteers, non-profit organizations and community leaders.

“Seniors helped build the strong communities we know today. These awards recognize those who give back, demonstrating the power of service, compassion and leadership while making a meaningful difference in seniors’ lives across Alberta.”
