Individuals who received medical treatment, injections, aesthetic procedures, or other health services from Mr. Max Klein may have been exposed to blood-borne pathogens, including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV, and may be at increased risk of injury or other health complications.

Members of the public are reminded that procedures involving injections, needles, or skin penetration should only be performed by a qualified provider who follows appropriate infection prevention and control practices. Receiving these services from unqualified or unregulated individuals can increase the risk of exposure to infectious diseases, injury, and other adverse health outcomes.

Those who received medical treatment, injections, aesthetic procedures, or other health services from Mr. Max Klein should call Health Link at 811 and/or speak to their healthcare provider to determine if other testing, monitoring or follow-up care may be required.  

Individuals referred from Health Link will be provided a full Blood and Body Fluid Exposure (BBFE) assessment by Primary Care Alberta as well as any necessary BBFE post-exposure prophylaxis, as required.
