“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Scholarship recognizes the hard work, dedication and academic excellence of students transitioning out of government care as they pursue post-secondary education. I am pleased to announce that scholarship applications are now open and encourage all eligible students to apply by Aug. 31.
“Administered through the Advancing Futures Program, 25 students will each receive a $2,000 scholarship in a wide range of degree, diploma and certificate programs. Through this scholarship, we are investing in the future of young Albertans transitioning into adulthood and empowering them to pursue their educational goals and build brighter futures.
