This change, based on feedback from Albertans who receive AISH and Income Support payments, will give individuals more time to pay their bills and help prevent unnecessary late charges. The new payment date will begin with the March 2024 payment cycle.

All clients will receive notice to update any automatic bill payments when they receive their February 2024 direct deposit slip/cheque. This ensures that they will have the time necessary to change any automatic payments from their accounts. Clients can also find the full payment date schedule online so they can plan accordingly.
