MLA Allard will develop, renew and strengthen Alberta’s relations with U.S. federal partners as well as gather market insight. She will also discuss Alberta’s responsible approach to energy development, including regulatory expertise and investment opportunities in carbon capture, utilization and storage, and potential in hydrogen and critical and rare earth minerals.

The Energy Council is an organization of elected legislators from 14 energy-producing states in the U.S., Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Mission expenses will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page.

Alberta’s government is committed to working with its national and international partners to advance shared interests that can lead to new opportunities for people and businesses in Alberta and around the world.
