Description: Yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect

At 6:02 p.m. MDT, a line of severe thunderstorms is located from about 20 km west of Monarch to Nobleford. These severe thunderstorms are moving southeast at 45 km/h. Damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain are possible. Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Nobleford, Monarch, Lethbridge

Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.
