At 8:13 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Wednesday, Environment Canada has updated a tornado warning for East Central Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised. The following localities are included in the warning: Provost, Edgerton and Chauvin. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

Area: M.D. of Wainwright near Chauvin Dillberry Lake and Roros
