Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Clearwater County has updated a wildfire alert.

There is an out of control wildfire approximately 5 km north of the James-Wilson Provincial Recreation Area, northwest of Sundre near Highway 40 (Forestry Trunk Road) and Highway 584.)

Area: This alert is in effect for the southern portion of Clearwater County, South of Township 35, East of Range 13, West of Hwy 22, as per the attached map.

Affected areas (2):

• Mountain View County
• Clearwater County

Action to take:

• This area remains on evacuation alert
• There is no mandatory evacuation for residents at this time; however, the public has been cleared of this area to allow for firefighting operations to take place
• Avoid the area until further notice
• This alert will be updated if an evacuation of residents in the area is required
