Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Town of Penhold has issued a Boil Water Advisory,

During routine testing of the water supply, low chlorine levels were found. Water samples have been taken and are being processed by the provincial laboratory. A boil water advisory has been issued as a precaution. The precautionary Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until water quality testing confirms there is no contamination.

Area: This alert is in effect for areas within Penhold South of Minto Street.

Affected areas (1):

• Penhold

Action to take:

• Until further notice, all residents and businesses are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to using it for domestic purposes, including drinking, making infant formula, brushing teeth, washing raw foods and making ice
• Updates will be provided on the website and facebook
