Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Hamlet of Granum has updated its Boil Water Alert.

As a result of a power outage in the Hamlet of Granum a Boil Water Advisory has been issued. This will be the final alert for this matter. Further information may be accessed on the MD's website and social media channels.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in the Hamlet of Granum.

Action to take:

• Until further notice ALL water used for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking and washing food must be brought to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute before use
• Water used for bathing, showers and laundry is still safe to use, however avoid swallowing any water used for those activities
• Municipal staff is working to restore normal operation as quickly as possible
