Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Yellowhead County has cancelled the Wildfire Alert for Peers and area.

The wildfire no longer requires an evacuation alert, however the wildfire does remain out of control.

Area: This alert is no longer in effect for the Peers area.

Action to take:

• Keep your emergency kits up-to-date, especially during periods of higher wildfire risk
• Connect with your neighbours and make a plan for notifying each other of evacuations or assisting those who need help during an emergency
