The wildfire in the area remains out of control. The mandatory evacuation order for the communities of Robb and Mercoal and everyone in the impacted area remains in effect.

Area: Robb and Mercoal areas

Affected areas (1):

• Yellowhead County

Action to take:

• Everyone in the communities of Robb and Mercoal must remain evacuated
• There is no timeline for re-entry
• Yellowhead County will advise all residents when it is safe to return home
• The reception centre is still located at the Holiday Inn in Edson
• All evacuees are encouraged to register or Call 1-833-334-4630 if you require support
• Everyone in the area should stay tuned to local media, Yellowhead County officials and Alberta Emergency Alert for updates in case this situation deteriorates
