The wildfire west of the community is still out of control. The mandatory evacuation order remains in effect.

Area: The evacuation order for the entire community of Chateh is still in effect.

Affected areas (1):

• Hay Lake 209

Action to take:

• Everyone in the community of Chateh must remain evacuated
• There is no timeline for re-entry
• Dene Tha' First Nation and community officials will advise all residents when it is safe to return home
• Everyone in the area should stay tuned to local media, the Dene Tha' First Nation website and Facebook page, and Alberta Emergency Alert for updates in case this situation deteriorates
