The wildfires in the area remain out of control. The mandatory evacuation order for everyone in the impacted area is still in effect.

Action to take:

• Everyone in Swan Hills must remain evacuated
• There is no timeline for re-entry
• The community will advise residents when it is safe to return home
• The reception center is located at the Allan and Jean Miller Centre in Whitecourt
• All evacuees are encouraged to register
• If you are not going to Whitecourt, please contact 780-778-3637 to register
