Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Thorhild County has updated its wildfire alert.

There is a wildfire in the Redwater Provincial Recreation Area. The fire remains out of control, and it is not yet safe to return home.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in southeast Thorhild County between the Correction Line and the boundary of Sturgeon County.

Affected areas (1):

• Thorhild County No. 7

Action to take:

• Everyone who has already evacuated must stay evacuated
• This includes everyone between Range Rd 203 and 214, and between Twp Rd 580 and 584
• Everyone directly east and north of the evacuation zone must be prepared for a possible evacuation with 1 hour's notice
• That includes everyone between Range Range Rd 214 and 221, and Twp Rd 584 and 590
• If you must evacuate, go to the reception centre at Thorhild Community Hall, 15 7 Ave, Thorhild
• Bring documents, medication and prepare to be away for at least 3 days
• All evacuees must register in person
