A wildfire is burning south of Boyle along Highway 831 between the Boyle Fishpond and the Ellscott turnoff. The fire is 1 mile south of the village of Boyle and moving North

Area: This evacuation order is in effect for everyone in the Village of Boyle and everyone East of Range Road 195 to 193 and South of Township Road 650

Affected areas (3):

• Athabasca County No. 12
• Boyle
• Thorhild County No. 7

Action to take:

• If you are evacuated please travel north along Highway 63/55 towards Lac La Biche to the reception centre at Parkland Motels II (10710 101 Ave, Lac la Biche, AB)
• For those who do not require assistance, we ask for you to self-register using the following QR code to ensure we can track residents from Boyle or Athabasca County that have evacuated
