Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Greenview is issuing a Wildfire Alert.

GWF049 is a wildfire that is burning Out of Control 5 kilometers west of Snipe Lake.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone within a radius of 5 KM from Range Road 203 and Highway 669 (see attached map).

Affected areas (1):

• Greenview No. 16

Action to take:

• Everyone in the affected area should prepare for a possible evacuation with 2 hours' notice
• Gather pets, important documents and medication, enough food, water and supplies for at least 3 days
• IMPORTANT: This alert will be updated if an evacuation is required
• Stay tuned to www.alberta.ca/emergencyalert, local media for updates
