Alberta River Forecast Centre has issued a Flood Warning for the Pembina River downstream of Entwistle to where the Pembina River joins with the Athabasca River. Some areas of the Pembina Provincial Park Campground have been evacuated.

Affected areas (2):

• Parkland County
• Yellowhead County

Action to take:

• Follow the direction of local authorities
• Residents and visitors in the area should be extremely cautious around the river and stay away from the banks
• Recreational use of the river is NOT recommended as high-water levels are causing fast moving currents and debris.
