Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Town of Whitecourt has issued an Evacuation Advisory Alert.

A flood warning remains in effect for the McLeod and Athabasca Rivers in Whitecourt. Water levels along the McLeod River continue to rise. An Evacuation Advisory Alert has been issued for an area located along the McLeod River in Whitecourt near Highway 43. No evacuation is required at this time.

• Whitecourt

Action to take:

• Everyone in the affected area must prepare to evacuate with 1-hour notice
• Gather pets, important documents, medication
• This alert will be updated if an evacuation is required
