Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert for the Town of Edson. The Town of Edson is issuing a High Water Level Alert.

Due to the heavy rainfall, we are seeing localized flooding in areas around creeks and ponds in and around the community. 6th Avenue is closed at 47th Street to allow pumps to be set up. Water is flowing across 2nd Avenue (Highway 16 east) near 48 Street and drivers are warned to use extreme caution.
