Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert Update. Parts of Yellowhead County surrounding Edson are downgraded to a Wildfire alert advisory.

Due to the decrease in fire activity, the Yellowhead County area surrounding Edson has been downgraded to a wildfire alert advisory.

Area: This alert downgrade is in place for parts of Yellowhead County. The western boundary is Marlboro and Medicine Lodge. North boundary is Township 570 and 580. West to Highway 751. South to Township 520.

• Yellowhead County

Action to take:

• Even during non-critical events, always have an emergency preparedness plan
• You should always have important documents, medication, and supplies ready
• And be ready to be self-sufficient for at least 72 hours
• Be prepared to take pets with you
• Ensure vehicles have fuel
