Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Yellowhead County has issued an Evacuation Order west of Hwy 47 to Medicine Lodge Road (212A).
The wildfire has crossed Highway 47 and is moving west. Highway 47 is closed except for local evacuation traffic. Evacuate the area. A Reception Centre is at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Evacuate north on Highway 47 and east on Highway 16 to go to Reception Centre.
Area: The evacuation area is Highway 47 west to Medicine Lodge and south of Highway 16 to Township 520.
