Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Town of Valleyview has updated their wildfire alert.

There is no current wildfire threat to the Town, but residents are to remain on a four hour evacuation notice. No evacuation is required at this time.

Affected areas (1):

• Valleyview

Action to take:

• In the event of an evacuation, ensure you gather important documents, medication, and enough food, water and supplies for 3 days
• Regularly top up fuel in your vehicle
• While smoke is not visibly present in the Town, it may become an issue from other wildfires in the region
• Residents with respiratory issues are advised to seek medical assistance if they experience difficulty breathing
• Monitor https://valleyview.ca for updates.
