Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Clearwater County has cancelled the wildfire alert for the Nordegg area.

The wildfire southeast of Nordegg and 20km southeast of the Bighorn First Nation is no longer an immediate threat to residents in the area.

Affected areas (1):

• Clearwater County

Action to take:

• Please remain on alert
• If you see a wildfire, report it immediately by calling 310-FIRE
• The fire ban and OHV restriction remains in place for all of Clearwater County, all burning is prohibited
• Read more: www.albertafirebans.ca. Please avoid the area to allow firefighters to safely continue work in the area
• Everyone should stay tuned to www.alberta.ca/emergencyalert and local media, in case this situation changes.
