A large grass fire is now under control. Crews will remain on scene overnight.

Affected areas (1):

• Strathcona County

Action to take:

• Be aware, the evacuation order for everyone in the area between south of Township Road 540 and north of Township Road 534; and east of Range Road 221 and west of Range Road 215, remains in place
• This includes Pleasant View Estates and Newton Estates
• Watch the Strathcona County website and social media for the most up to date information
• Be ready to evacuate in case conditions change.
