Area: The wildfire is located southwest of Brazeau Dam west of the Brazeau River. The evacuation area is bounded by Elk River Road on the north, the Brazeau Reservoir on the east, just past Brazeau River on the south, and Rge Rd 145 on the west.
Description: Anyone in the area needs to evacuate. Tactical evacuations are being done. This wildfire primarily affects oil and gas industry, but anyone within the area must evacuate. Go to Yellowhead County’s facebook or www.yhcounty.ca for updates. The evacuation routes are north on Wolf Lake Road, west on Elk River Road or east on Elk River Road to Highway 620. A map of the evacuation zone is attached.
