Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Brazeau County has cancelled the wildfire alert.

The wildfire is still active and crews are still working on the fire southeast of Drayton Valley, but all evacuated residents of Brazeau County can now return home.

Area: This alert is no longer in effect for residents North of Township Road 482 and South of Highway 39, and West of Range Road 64 and East of Highway 22.

Affected areas (1):

  • Brazeau County

Action to take:

  • Only residents of the evacuated area should should return to the area at this time
  • Allow crews the space to continue to work on this dangerous wildfire
