Alberta Emergency Alert - Water Supply Alert

Area: Rycroft

Description: A water leak in the Village of Rycroft near the water treatment plant has resulted in the interruption of water service in the Village. Repair crews are on site. Once repaired, the system will be re-pressurized, however water line flushing will be required until the water is confirmed safe to drink, so a boil water advisory will remain in effect until that time. Crews are working to repair the water leak. In the mean time, the use of bottled water is recommended. Bottled water is available at the Rycroft Coop and through other local merchants.

Instruction: Do not consume tap water without first boiling it for one minute at a rapid boil. In the mean time, consider bottled water. Please follow local updates.
