Driving conditions throughout Parkland County are potentially dangerous and very poor. As the temperature drops and the rain turns to snow, visibility will be further reduced overnight.

Action to take:

• Restrict travel this evening and overnight to essential travel only
• Travel is not recommended on roadways in Parkland County, including Highways 16, 16 A, 43, 44, 770 and 779
• Emergency Services and roadway maintenance vehicles are active throughout the County
• Please give crews space to work
• Slow down and drive to conditions if you must drive.
