In consultation with Alberta Health Services (AHS), the boil water advisory has been lifted for the majority of areas in north Okotoks; however, the boil water advisory REMAINS IN PLACE for a few remaining areas. Please visit the Town’s website for the list of addresses (and map) for those still under a boil water advisory. A complete outdoor water ban remains in effect for Okotoks.

Action to take:

• For those under a boil water advisory: boil water from the drinking water faucet for one minute before the water is used for drinking, food preparation, or dental care purposes
• Neighbourhoods where boil water advisory has been lifted: As per AHS, no required flushing of any water-using fixtures/appliances before resuming consumption/use of water
• Resume normal water use
• All residents: A watering ban remains in effect; refrain from outdoor water use
