The wildfire burning southwest of Township Road 522 and Range Road 63 is still active. There was no significant fire growth overnight, it remains at approximately 12 hectares, and it is still classified as out of control. Affected residents in the area have been made aware of the situation.

Updates will be posted on the Parkland County website at www.parklandcounty.com, as well as the County social media pages.

Action to take:

• Continue to avoid the area and avoid using Township Road 522 if possible
• Smoke may limit visibility on roadways
• Use extreme caution.
