Description: Alberta Emergency Alert: Severe Thunderstorm Alert
At 5:15 PM, a very dangerous thunderstorm is located near Big Stone, moving southeast at 15 km/h. This thunderstorm is capable of producing one or more of the following: destructive winds, or golf ball size or greater hail. Intense lightning is likely and tornadoes are possible with any thunderstorm.

Action to take:
- Seek shelter immediately in a basement or reinforced structure
- Get low and put as many walls between yourself and the storm as possible
- Stay away from windows, doors and outside walls
- If you are on the highway and cannot avoid the tornado, seek shelter in a ditch or ravine.
