Due to a wide spread wireless degradation, service for TELUS customers has been disrupted. This means that anyone in this area affected may be unable to contact Police, Fire and Ambulance by telephone if they have an emergency. The persons affected by this disruption should call 587-370-4681 should they require emergency services in the Taber or MD of Taber area.

Telus has advised that there is a wide spread wireless degradation issue happening this morning. Telus teams are investigating. Telus clients may not be able to complete or connect to the network therefore not able to call 9 1 1.

Action to take:

• Should you require emergency services in Taber or the MD of Taber and not able to call 9 1 1, please try from another phone, or call 587-370-4681, or email [email protected] or go to the nearest police, fire or ambulance station.
