Description: There is a wildfire south of Highway 1, and west of the Graburn Road in the vicinity that is south of the hamlet of Walsh. Cypress County has declared a state of local emergency as a result.

The wildfire is burning approximately 8 kilometres south of Highway 1 and south of the hamlet of Walsh. The fire is presently burning between Range Road 12A and the Graburn Road, and is south of Township Road 110 and north of Township Road 104. The fire is on the west side of the Graburn Road and burning in a northeast direction. Cypress County Emergency and Fire Services are presently on scene. As a result of smoke and high wind velocities, visibility in this area is reduced. Any affected residents needing evacuation are to report to the Cypress County Administration Office, in the hamlet of Dunmore, to receive further instructions for temporary shelter. Instruction: Evacuate immediately. Avoid the area. Visibility will be affected. Take all necessary precautions.
