Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert

A wildfire is advancing and everyone in the area located north of Highway 697, south of the Peace River and west of Steep Hill Creek, also called Range Road 164, must immediately evacuate.

People evacuating the area must register at the Reception Centre located at the Fort Vermilion Mackenzie County Office 4511 46 Ave. Fort Vermilion or call 780-927-3718. Please call the Reception Centre if you require parking for your RV or holiday trailer. Check www.511.alberta.ca/region/Northern%20Alberta#:Alerts for more information on road conditions. Bring medication, blankets, sleeping bags, personal items and identification if possible.

  • Everyone in the area must evacuate immediately and take their medication, blankets, sleeping bags, personal identification and documents if possible
