Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

Update 2: The wildfire in the Paddle Prairie area has increased in intensity and all persons in the Keg River area must immediately evacuate to the South via Highway 35 to the Town of Manning. Keg River, Carcajou, and everyone in the north area of the County of Northern Lights south to Township Rd. 922 were ordered to evacuate on May 29, and this order is still in affect.

  • Northern Lights No. 22
  • Manning

Action to take:

  • Anyone still in the Keg River, Carcajou, and residents living in the northern border of the County of Northern Lights south to Township Rd
  • 922, must evacuate immediately to Manning, traveling south on Highway 35
  • This is an evacuated area and the wildfire in the area is intensifying and the area is not safe
