Description: Update 7: The Town of High Level Evacuation Order remains in place as a wildfire continues to burn in the area. ATCO has temporarily restored power to Mackenzie County, Town of High Level, La Crete, Fort Vermilion and the Dene Tha First Nation.
Evacuees should register at the Reception Centres in La Crete, Slave Lake, High Prairie, Peace River, Grand Prairie, Fort Vermillion or Hay River. A number of highways and roads in the area of the wildfires are closed due to smoke and dangerous driving conditions. Instruction: People driving through the area should carry enough fuel for travel as fuel may not be readily available. Listen to local media for more information.
