Description: Alberta Emergency Alert- Dangerous Highway Conditions.
Blowing and drifting snow combined with strong winds, is affecting Highway 1, between Canmore and Cochrane impacting travel in both directions. Visibility is reduced to zero. Highway 1 is closed.

Action to take:
- Drivers are instructed to not travel in this area
- Highway 1 is closed
- If you are on Highway 1, shelter in place
- Follow the directions of emergency responders
- For emergency assistance, dial 9 1 1
