Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Evacuation Alert Updated
The fire is now 1936 hectares in size. The fire remains in British Columbia. The Evacuation Alert remains in effect. Residents are reminded to remain vigilant, as wildfires are unpredictable and this situation could change with minimal notice.
A evacuation alert has been issued to residence of Castle Mountain Resort, West Castle Valley, South Castle Valley and all areas South of Highway 774 from the end of the pavement.
Action to take:
- Prepare for possible evacuation
- Avoid the area
- Residents choosing to leave the area should call 1-855-627-5365 and leave a message
- Follow the directions of local authorities
