Description: BURMIS AREA – MD OF PINCHER CREEK - EVACUATION ALERT

This is NOT the Sage Creek Fire. There is a wildfire burning within the Burmis area of the MD of Pincher Creek NORTH of Highway 3 and WEST of the North Burmis Road.

A wildfire is threatening the WEST Border of the MD. Residents NORTH of Highway 3 and along the North Burmis Road up to Rock Creek are being put on Evacuation Alert.

Action to take:

• Prepare for possible evacuation
• Avoid the area
• Residents choosing to leave the area should call 1-855-627-5365 and leave a message
• Follow the directions of local authorities
