Description: This is NOT the Sage Creek Fire. There is a wildfire burning within the Burmis area of the MD of Pincher Creek NORTH of Highway 3 and WEST of the North Burmis Road.
A wildfire is threatening the WEST Border of the MD. Residents NORTH of Highway 3 and along the North Burmis Road up to Rock Creek are being put on Evacuation Alert.
Instruction: Prepare for possible evacuation. Avoid the area. Residents choosing to leave the area should call 1-855-627-5365 and leave a message. Follow the directions of local authorities. Visit www.mdpinchercreek.ab.ca for more information.
