There was an incident earlier today involving a cable cut that had partially affected the ability for residents of Drayton Valley to contact 9 1 1. Services affected were standard telephone lines and D S L based internet throughout the Town of Drayton Valley. Cellular service remained fully operational.

For further information please visit the Town of Drayton Valley web site http://www.draytonvalley.ca The Towns main number of 780-514-2200 is now operational.

Action to take:

• The service provider has restored services
• All phone and internet services should now be operational
• If residents are still having issues, please contact your local service provider.
