Description: There is an incident involving a cable cut that has partially affected the ability of some residents of Hinton and Yellowhead County to contact 9-1-1. Services affected are standard telephone lines. Cellular services are reported to remain fully operational.

Instruction: Some landline telephones are not in service. The service provider is actively working to rectify the issue. To ensure timely communication with 9-1-1 emergency services, please use cellular devices.
