Description: Eating Creek and Marten Beach residents are advised to stay away from flooded areas. Highway 88 is washed out and closed. Minimal power outages in all areas
Eating Creek and Marten Beach residents are advised to stay away from areas as threat continues to be high. Displaced residents are asked to check in at the Reception Centre set up at the MD Administration office or call 780-849-4888. There is a full highway closure on highway 88 at kilometer sixteen. Marten Beach residents and other traffic on the north side of this closure will have to take an alternate route through Wabasca as there will be no through access and are instructed to avoid the area. There is no estimated time that Highway 88.
