An out of control wildfire continues to burn approximately 10 kilometers south of the Hamlet of Janvier in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Action to take:

• Residents of the Hamlet of Janvier and Chipewyan Prairie First Nation should prepare for a possible evacuation
• No Evacuation order is being issued at this time
• The Hamlet of Janvier or Chipewyan Prairie First Nation are not threatened by the wildfire at this time
• Smoke will be visible in the area
• Air quality may be impacted by the wildfire.
