Description: There are multiple wildfires burning in Mackenzie County. The Hutch Lake wildfire is currently heading east. The Hutch Lake campground is closed until further notice. The Hutch Lake cabins are on high alert. Highway 35 is currently open. Another fire is out of control near Highway 58 and the Ponton River. Wildfires are also threatening the Child Lake Indian Reserve.

Be on high alert, as there are multiple other fires burning in the County. Visit the Mackenzie County Facebook page for information, or call the Emergency Operation Center at 780 927 3718.

Instruction: Follow the directions of local authorities. Take all necessary precautions and avoid the area. Visibility will be affected in some areas. Seek medical attention if you experience breathing difficulties.
