Description: The flooding in the County of Grande Prairie has stabilized. As a result this emergency alert is cancelled. The public needs to continue to obey all barricades and road signage currently in place, continue to listen to local media and obtain road closure and flooding information from the County’s website.
If you encounter an area that requires immediate attention that impedes travel or has a significant risk to safety and property, please contact the Public Works at 780-532-7393. Information is being updated on a daily basis.
Instruction: Obey all posted signs. Do not bypass or move barricades, or travel through water covered roads as there may be hidden hazards including washout and erosion. Follow the County of Grande Prairie’s website regarding flooding information and road closures.
